Puff of smoke

I do one hard run going to redline sometimes, and when i slow down and get into lower speeds and rpms, a big puff of smoke comes out of the tail pipe. It doesn't happen all the time, just sometimes.

Dp, mp, cb, manual boost controller are the mods.

Turbo mileage? It's most likely the oil seals in the turbos.

Pull off one of your intercooler pipes, if theres oil in the pipes it will be the turbo--

crap....i just put this set on my car not too long ago. It was a used set from someone here on the forums. I don't remember the specific mileage.....but i kinda had a hunch it was blown seals in the turbo's. It's confirmed then since you guys believe that would be it. *sighs*
how much to send out for a rebuild? :P

its 800$ for a rebuild. i dont recommend having it done though.

call BNR see what they think? most hitachi cores are not rebuildable. i had my original set of turbos rebuilt by majestic turbos 3 times in less than 6 months. they still smoked more than to my liking so had to get rid of them. you have to think whats more important, the time taking off 3 sets of turbos, or the 2k$ you could have spent the first time for new ones.
