Do not run 14.5 psi on the Pettit ecu on pump gas....they would be the first to tell you not to do this.

My Profec-B Spec 2 should've been here yesterday and I plan on setting it for 14psi. My current mods that matter for this:

Apexi Power FC
HKS Super Megaflow Dual Intake
rx7store downpipe
rx7store midpipe
Old style RB catback duals

I'll also have the Nippondenso fuel pump from the rx7store arriving with my Profec-B Spec 2, and a LM-1 Wideband arriving sometime next week. You guys have in insiders tips for the profec-b spec 2, given my current setup? Dn't mean to hijack but, thanks.

Brad

And I'd also add to not run a Profec B Spec 2. Too many reports of it having glitches converting units and failing to hold/limit boost correctly (there are quite a few threads on this already, so plz search for more info). The Profec B Type-S, however, is a rock solid unit. It's the newer version of the time-tested old-school Profec B.

Well if Greddy states that it'll hold boost and it doesn't and my motor pops, looks like Greddy might be in the market to purchase me a new street ported 13b

Unless they market it as "off-road use only" equipment, which I'm sure they do...

A link for you on how to tune your profec B spec II . I used it myself and it was useful. Just remember, the adjustment are in percentages and not actual psi amount.

thanks for the pics mahjic, I'm gonna install it this week . I spoke to the guys at pettit before I sent the ecu out, I was told I can 14.5 since the fuel cut on thier ecu is 14.7. But I'll turn it down to 14 just to be safe
