Profec B-II vs. Type-S on '99 seq. turbos
Did a search and couldn't find anything definitive...
I'm having an engine rebuilt with '99 spec turbos, but I've heard some rumblings from people and from my mechanic that the Profec B-II's get "confused" by the '99 spec turbos and don't respond quick enough. They recommend that I sick with the Type-S for the '99 sequentials.
I don't understand how the B-II would be really any different unless it's equipped with some type of fuzzy logic that doesn't like sequentials? (Which doesn't make sense either because the promo material lists them as sequential compatible)
Thoughts? Debunkers? Supporters?

I agree 100%. When I was at Gotham full-time, I remember that the profec II gave some serious boost problems, namely inconsistent boost thresholds.
I highly recommend the type-s all the way. I have run an old school profeb B for about 5 years now and it has never let me down, even at boost as high as 19 psi .
