I was jus wondering where some of you put the vacuum line and wireing through the firewall or what is the best way to get it into the cab?

The two ways that I know of are though the steering column boot on the drivers side or through the wiring harness boot on the passenger side. It really depends on where you want to mount your Profec. I have mine in the glove box so I ran the wire and vacume hose though on the passenger side.

did you have to take off anything to get to the wire harness boot? like the wiper motor or anything?

No, its just a tight fit and you have to eye ball it a bit. Its best to run it from inside the car into the engine bay and then grab it on the otherside of the fire wall.

I drilled a hole below the clutch master cylinder. There is a lot of firewall room there to run wires. That is the same place I put the holes for my gauges. Getting through that sound proofing stuff is a bitch. It gets all wrapped up in the drill bit and is difficult to poke the lines through.

i just pushed mine through the holes where the ac pipes used to run....if you still have ac and are putting your b-spec in the glove box there is plenty of room around these pipes with the rubber grommet..

I enlarged the hole that the hood release cable comes threw in. I removed the fuse block from it's clip and the dead pedal and drilled threw from the cabin side. I smoothed the edges with a dremel round file bit. Ran all gauge and hose threw the wall in that plastic wrap stuff to keep any possibility of wires or hoses getting torn. Pretty easy to get to and gives you easy acess to your power needs.(ign. and such) Hope that helped!

Pull the steering column boot and you can see into the engine bay. Just feed the lines thru by hand.

a clothes hanger works wonders when trying to get wires thru anything..whether for gauges, speaker wires etc

I just T-ed from the boost gauge, which I put through the same hole as hood release cable goes through. The electric cable was a bit more problematic. I took off the left fender and put in in from the side at the dead pedal.
I have my profec velcroed on the steering column.
