Profec B boost switch wiring diagram

Could someone with the greddy remote boost switch please tell me how it is wired. It looks like a Tip Ring Sleeve mini jack(3 conductor). I need to know which to connect to switch boost. You can do this by using on ohmeter and putting the leads across 2 of the connections on the plug, when you push the button on the remote you will get 0 ohms. Also I would like to know if it is a momentary or maintaining push button. I am going to use am OEM switch as a boost switch and need to know the wiring. I dont think its worth buying the Greddy for $100 just to figure out the way it's wired.

Whenever I find out how to do it I will let everyone know. I even went so far as to sign up to the Honda forum and ask them. I am going to wire it up to the fog light switch or defrost switch.

The wiring diagram you all have wanted

Sorry to bring up an old thread.

But here is a basic diagram of what you need to do to make a wired remote switch for your Profec B. A stereo 1/8 inch plug us required to plug in the back of the Profec B. (Preferably 90 degrees so it does not stick out too far). For simplicity's sake I am referencing my explanation to a 1/8 inch stereo extender cable (male to male).

The drawing shows what to short MOMENTARILY to make the Profec to switch modes. The switching is alternate action... meaning that 1 click will put you in HI and another click puts you back to LOW. There is no remote indictor of what setting you are in besides what you can see on the Profec B itself. The 12VDC output must be to power the Greddy receiving unit for their radio Profec remote switch? Maybe you could use it as a remote power indicator????

I am building a better version this week for permanent installation in my car. But mine works like I want it to.

One month later, here's another version of how to do it. I just put the switch together today. I haven't street tested it yet, but in the driveway it DOES switch the indicator light.

Hope this helps. . .
