Problems locating where to connect hoses, will pay for help
Hello, i posted a thread a few days ago about this but now have links to pics, I bought a miata converted to entirely 3rd gen rx7 except the body. I bought the car with a blown motor and some parts were taken off, i have been rebuilding it and is ready to fire up soon but i have about 10 connections that i have no idea where they go, If someone would be willing to take a picture of their rx7 motor in the same spot so i can locate where to connect my parts i would be willing to throw them a few bucks via paypal or cut a deal of some carbon fiber from my website. Here are the links to the pics, some of them i have pointed out. I just have them uploaded.

where's my CF hood?
1. updated since new info
2. updated since new info
3. isn't this obvious? connects to the open hardline!
4. airpump - once it is on.
5. water thermosensor
6. yikes... ummmmm, this is a reasonable good question - in that position i'd normally say airpump, water thermosensor, ratsnest, primary fuel injectors... errrr... i'll edit if i come up with it.
7. brake booster hose... connects to a hardline running around the firewall to your brake booster lines.
8+9. not many that size in the rats nest... check the attached vaccuum diagram. think they connect to each other!
10. vacuum diagram
11. vacuum diagram
12. ground clips to firewall
13. on the extension bar, the far left goes to the bottom actuator, right hand side goes to top actuator... bottom actuators right hand valve goes to the hardlines. two loopy hoses there go on the elbow once it is back on.

1+7. go together
2. you need a power steering pump pulley
the hoses going to the actuators in i think pic (13) - if they don't have resitrictor pills in the hoses you'll only get 7psi - that capped outlet suggests a MBC though.

check the for sale section at the bottom of the main page!
Question 2: Not really, they are used to control the wastegate, turbo precontrol, and turbo control...look at the vac diagram above. they are listed on there! If you want you can go to a simplified vac diagram. Here try this http://www.turborx7.com/rx7vacuum.htm

thanks for all the help, i got almost all of the connections done right but i still have a couple questions, on pic 5 , what/where is the water thermo sensor? in pic 6 where is the egr? in pic 7 what connect to the two smaller open inlets (not the one i am pointing to) and lastly in pic 8 i cant locate where that plugs into, any other help would be appreciated,
your guy's help worked well, the color diagram is the ****, works very well.

i think the water thremo sensor is somehwere on the back of the filler neck, umm as for the egr it should be somewhere infront of the lower intake manifold. it's like this round thing inside a metal cup like thingie.. haha horrible explaination. the small inlets 1 is for the stock air bypass valve adn the other is just extra and u can cap it or use it too hook up a boost gauge. that looks like the vac like for your oil injectors.. refer the big boldy blue like vac in that diagram

8. goes to the left behind your hand in the picture, you can just see an open tube sticking straight up just to left of the blue connector (that is not used) and directly in front of the lower intanke manifold. Very dark blue hose in Vac diagram around 9 o'clock position going to the small cylinder that is also blue.

Pic 3 goes with pic 10 the extra tube you see in that pic 10. goes over to pic 3 too. I'm not sure whitch one is which on the two close together tubes in the rats nest. They are the two light purple hoses in the diagram at 9 o'clock

7. Air by pass valve, Red hose in vac diagram and the other one is normally capped. Use for aftermarket boost guage. Follow red hose from upper intank manifold at 12 o'clock position. Brown round actuator in pic number 4 on the inch hose. I think. there are two identical valves like this and the picture is cut off.
