Problem starting

I have recently been having problems with my car not starting.

This problem is total random but usualy happens at least once per day.

I go to turn the key to start the ign but nothing works, all the light are on, they all dim while the key is turned but nothing from the starter. eventually with enought key turns, like more than 20, the starter starts. Once when it dident start I poped the hood and pulled and reseated every big fuse and relay i could find, then the car started right up...but 2 hours later when it happend again that trick dident work. I havent tested the starter off the car yet.

The clutch switches have been tested, i tested the battary, the key switch, everything....

the only thing i noticed is this started happing after i got my clutch replaced by a shop here in town.

any ideas?

Its your grounding and wiring between you alternator, battery, and starter... ask me how i know...

my suggestion run some 1-2 gauge wire between each point.... should solve your problem... it did mine. It is DEFINATELY NOT your starter....

oh and i forgot... this topic has been brought up thousands upon THOUSANDS of times. This is one of the first posts i made on the subject nearly 3.5 years ago. For the love of god, search already. Seek information from those that have already asked. If you have not found the information through a search... THEN post and reference any material you HAVE found and what you have tried to do to alleviate the problem. There are THOSANDS of possiblities (ok maybe not) of what your problem could stem from. Most of which have already been covered in detail, along with many other peoples trial and errors. This is here for you to learn from.

a common problem i notice in all the threads that exhibit this problem is that they aren't replacing the cable down to the starter... give it a try... let us know how it works... take some pictures even... do a write-up....

Im on my 4 am rant... its a common problem with the cars, clicking starter solenoid with not starter action.... if you look back through posts it is brought up quite a bit, everyone just seems to learn to live with it. Like I said though a simple search would have givin him a close answer and where to start checking without the process of waiting for someone to reply to his thread....

and doing a search I see this same problem being brought up at least twice a month...
