Problem With Gruppe M Induction Kit.
Hello,
I have bought a Gruppe M induction Kit for my '96 RX7 and am very happy with it (the build quality is superb).
The problem I am having is with the little inlets that drop down either side of the bonnet catch mechanism.
I have an air-bag sensor mounted to the bonnet mechanism which means one of the inlets will hit it.
I am wondering if anyone has had this problem and can give me any help. I know that the Knight Sports intake uses the same inlet design.
goto www.gruppemeurope.com to see a pic of the intake.
I've also added a picture of the bonnet mechanism on my car.
Andrew.

Yeah the build quality is very good. The finish on the Carbon Laquer is very smooth and the hub that the hoses go into is built very well.
GruppeM have also built in noise reduction into the air pump and other hose connecions by using three small holes instead of one large one in the joints.
If anyone can help me with the installation problem I would be gratefull.
When it comes round to installation I would be glad to post pics if anyone wants to see them.

OK, I've got the intake to fit!
Had to remove the part of the airbag sensor bracket (Which is bolted on anyway).
But the sensor is still in place and hopefully still safe/effective.

No problem with fitting on top of the fuse box.
As for access, well the filter assembly stays attached to the pipes and you just remove the box (takes about 3-4 minutes) so no big problem.
