Problem with boost at transistion.....
Well last night I went out to the local Friday meet. No, i didnt race anyone cuz my car is still got that crazy fuel problem that I have not been able to figure out. I have been troublseshooting this car for a year and 3 months now. Im so getting tired of this car, after I had tried everything I could imagine I have taken it to Pettit twice. I did not have any luck with them either, he pretty much told me " im sorry I dont know what it may be." But he still gives me things to try when I call to speak with him. So besides my ongoing fuel issue it seems now I have a boost issue as well. Last night im cruising and decide to lay into the throttle, I reach transition and there is a loud whistle sound heard like you would normally hear at transition but it fluctuates and will not allow the secondary turbo to come online. So I tried it again this time when it started to fluctuate I feathered the throttle and then the secondary came online and the car pulled like gangbusters? Im just wondering if anyone knows if my fuel prob, and this may be related or what. I dont think that they are but then again I and the best in the nation cant figure it out either.
TIA, Jamie

Also after it does the fluctuation thing the exhaust note changes to a really muffled tone. After like 30 seconds it just goes back to the way it sounded before, like something is stuck momentarily...

I've been studying these vacuum diagrams for a week. Trying to become a twinturbo-ologist...
Can't say I've got enough experience to give you advice but it could be the charge control actuator is having difficulty (slow or stuck closed?) or maybe the charge relief solenoid is acting up and letting the charge relief valve vent when it should be closed.
Somebody correct me if I'm blowing smoke

That does sound feasable, I was thinking that since it seems to be something sticking that it was one of the flapper doors in the y-pipe....

first off what are the boost readings before, during, and after transition.
if you are getting fuel cut due to problems, of course the car is going to jerk and feel like u hit a wall during boost.

Turbo control actuator. 99% sure. either the pressure or the vacuum TCA solenoid. one of them is the one above the ACV and the other is toward the front of the rats nest.

My Boost Pattern Is Fine Its About 11-10-11 Solid With No Spikes Really And No Creep Or Loss Of Boost. Cam Himself Said That He Thought That I Had A Very Solid Setup If Only We Could Find The Damn Culprit To Why The Car Is Dumping Fuel Upon Accleration...
