primary intake.

I just removed my airpump and installed the greddy pulley's. I noticed that on the primary turbo's plastic intake elbow there are two nipples on top, each one runs a hose to a hard line. They are side by side and my right side one is disconnected and the hose that should be in place is dangling right beside it. Does anyone know what this may be?

one is feeding the oil injectors that reside on the top of the rotor housings. It goes into the rats nest and then to the injectors.

the other is the return for any oil that may get pushed up inside the filler neck. A crankcase breather if you will. Hope that answers your questions.

The oil breather you could leave open to the atmosphere. You may get a little oil dripping from it, BUT it needs to be vented, so do not cap it.( Unless you still have the PCV in line to the UIM, Then you could cap it.)

The oil injectors you should leave connected. I guess if you consider your Apex seals not getting the needed oil during start up and running a performance inhibitor then yes it will hurt the performance. But only to the extent of cracking a seal.. eventually. You could eliminate them and go pre-mix all the time to add to the fun..
