Premix and E85

Which premix do you use with E85? I had heard that idemitsu would not be appropriate.

Benol. But, it's still not as effective as premixing with pump. Or, so I hear.

I used to used klotz benol but experienced lots of “tacky gumminess” now I only use redline alcohol premix at 2oz/gallon

Motul micro 2T . It's used by lots of turbo rotary guys here in NZ with a lot of success.

Yeah that's not the Klotz doing it, it's the E85 itself. If you go to a racing barrel E85 or E98 etc, it will not have any of the tar, it's just the cheap pump E85 that does.

Just run a tank of pump 93 and it will wash it all off the motor anyway.
