PPF is gone:(

well its official, took off the PPF today and saw a crack about 3/4 the way down a foot from the tranny side. im thinking about the mazdaspeed but i wonder if jason has one in stock. i dont want to wait forever for one. i may try welding it once since my buddy is the best damn welder i know. he could probably reinforce it more than needed. does anyone know anything else i should check out while under there. something a broken PPF could cause to wear? does anyone have a stocker laying around for a cheap price?

shifter will jump when you get on it, bad chatter, clunking, knocking overall sickening sounds try looking at JTimports.com he has both the mazdaspeed and RE. add100 dollars to RE for them to supply core PPF. I'm not sure on the in stock status, all his prices include shipping to the US. He also returns e-mails fairly quickly. I have the mazdaspeed and like it very much. also replaced the diff. with a kazz 1.5. stock one blew up. also could be caused by a broken PPF. good luck check your driveshaft and u-joint condition as well

I destroyed my stocker and then cracked a replacement stock PPF in the same three places. No more drag racing for me . The last time I had the PPF welded and it's held up fine to aggressive street driving and road racing--no launches though.
