PowerFC Pro?

I posted this in the PFC forum, but since its not tuning related i figured it could go here too to get more attention. What do you guys think about this version vs the normal version? Anybody have any experience with it? Is tuning pretty much the same? I know it does ignition cut instead of fuel cut for the rev limiter and its essentially got a 2 step built into it. What do you think one of these would be worth? Would it be worth about $400 more than what you would pay for the normal version? LMK what yall think.

Have you opened it up to verify that it is an actual Pro unit or does it just have the sticker on the outside?

Its a buddy of mine stationed in Japan. He opened the ecu and it does in fact say FD3S1PRO on the large black chip. We talked to a guy at Apexi and he verified the serial numbers to be a pro version as well and offered to buy it back lol.

Already been to that site. I'm wondering if anybody has any personal experience with it.

How do you plan on implementing the features? As far as I know the Datalogit software doesn't support the additional features.

Im under the assumption that Apexi sells their own tuning software. I dont know when they started selling it with the PFC, but im sure it would be compatibile with the PRO.
I noticed it being advertised around the same time they released the new OLED Commander Unit

I would also think to assume that this would eliminate the need for a Datalogit box

The datalogit is capable with the pro version as well. Nothing is different except on the commander it gives the selection for 0kph ignition cut which is the 2 step.

i would take the extra 400 and buy a ignition box with built in 2 step and use a regular pfc

Or another ECU that has the features built in along with updated software. Link G4 RX, AEM, etc.... Link has launch control and flat shutting. Think they are working on traction control as well.

But i'm not sure how to tune on the fly with other ecu's. And yeah i could go to another ignition with it built it, pay about the same as getting the pro version and clutter the engine bay a little more, but why when i can get it built into the PFC? I think i just answered my own question. Ill just get the pro version

Worse case scenario sounds like that if you don't like it, or decide you wish to go a separate route it will be easy to sell and recover all your money... Sounds like a win-win.
