powerfc from JPS?

Does anyone have any experience with these guys? www.jappartsspecialist.com

They have the lowest price for a brand new power fc that I've seen even with international shipping. power fc with the commander for $820.

They're on ebay too.

Do a search under that name. I believe a couple of people have bought a Power FC from them.

Just make sure it's the 8 bit version. A lot of jdm power fc's are 16 bit I believe.

Why would it be better to have an 8 bit version instead of a 16 bit???

8bit and 16bit FDs have different harnesses - you can't hook one up to the other

that good enough for ya?

if i'm not wrong .. 16 bit wouln't work for our cars... 16 bit is made for only 96+ and the 8 bit is for 91dec- 95dec is 8 bit... 95dec-98dec is 16 bit... 99jan-00dec is 32 bit

oh, got it...thanks

but in theory, the 16 bit and ultimately the 32 bit would be the best (adaptability aside)?

but these guys have both of them. I guess thats why they specifically specify the the 91-95 version and the 96+ version.

This is the place I got my PFC & commander. Only problem, the instructions were in Japanese, so I had to email the guy for directions... he pointed me to the Apexi website.

Btw...

Oh and the pins that are normally removed when you purchase the US version are still intact, so you need to make that modification.

how fast did you get it? they say it may take 2-3 weeks because of some special order crap.

but you really can't beat this price

I'd like to do a group buy. Whoever is interested, please PM me and I will talk to the guy and see if we can get a cut.

US$698 (75,000yen) delivered (domestically, in japan). Consider it beaten

however, as that is a not uncommon price, it shows that there may be some room for discount via group buy

well, they probably won't ship overseas - which is why I included the second line. For those who know someone who can get them parts - there are definitely cheaper options, that's all
