Power Steering Hose (pic)

I noticed the wet spot at the front of this power steering hose. Clamp seems to be tight, but you can see the fluid in the picture. Not leaking much (yet), I searched and found several threads about this and usually a change in clamps was the course taken.

I'm thinking about replacing the clamps. Anyone had success with this?

I replaced that hose with a ss braided line and new clamps. Still leaks like yours.

I have this same thing, as I bet most FDs do. It seems that the natural angle of the metal hose doesn't gibe with the rubber hose, it almost seems...bound up...or something, and causes that gapping you see at the bottom.
Generally speaking, it is not a good idea to mess with those stock clamps, as you are likely to get a worse leak. And if your rubber hose is like mine, it is like IRON...lol! I suppose the best thing to do would be to separate the reservoir from the pump and put on a new piece of rubber hose, and perhaps put on good stainless steel hose clamps with a worm-drive. I would shorten that rubber hose up about 1/4" to 3/8" and see if that helps.

Dont waste your time with the stock hose.. just get a new hose and run it all the way up to the top of the metal bit. Maybe fasten it on there with two clamps. One at the top of the curved metal pipe, and one in the stock location.

so that's where it's leaking from, I've been wanting to powerwash that area so that I could pinpoint where the leak is from.
