B) you're also assuming the TT's speedo is incorrect... which may or may not be true.
do you know where the TT get's it signal for the vehicle speed? I would imagine it's the same place as the factory speedometer...
Regardless if you can get your hands on a GPS unit toss it in and compare the two, I've used my GPS in ~4 vehicles and the only one that was spot on was my truck. My grandmas passat reads 5mph slow! Moms truck read 2mph fast... you'd be suprised...

the tt gets the engine speed signal from the ecu...
im pretty sure my needle is accurate because i compared it to 2006 altima with same wheel diameter,,, i drove my car and my buddy drove next to me we both hit 40 and were right next to each other.....so i think my speedometer is accurate....i hope.
