power steering failure?

I got to work today and I am getting a bad wind when I turn the weel, I parked the car poped the hood to see iol all over the pullies,belts etc. but the fluid level in my power steering reservor is just above the min line. question is is the power steering unit hard to replace anyone know how it is running withought one at all? everything checked out ok full oil, is it the pump for sure anyone got any tips on figuring this one out would b great, and if it is the pump is it going to hurt anything else to drive for the next week till i can fix it?

I honestly can't figure out what you are trying to say here? What are your symptoms? Is the pump squealing?

it sounds like i am out of power steering fluid i am gettin a wind/squeeling sound frome around the pump.... but the reservior is still full of fluid?

Sounds like the pump is fluxored. You can pick them up cheaply in the classifieds. Swapping a pump is not hard (see the FSM in the stickies).

can someone tell me ware to find TH FSM???????? And do you need another size belt when removing A/C and P/S if so anyone know the size

It is one of the first 7 threads stickied in this forum. You can also access it from the FAQ thread also stickied in this forum.

Make sure you use the right fluid. the correct fluid is listed in the manual. I think its some kind of auto tranny fluid.
