Power Fc ?s

My old setup had a Greddy Profecb with a non sequential set up. The clutch was slipping on the 10 lbs setting so i turned it off and ran the factor spring 7 lbs. Now i have a different motor with the factory sequential and different clutch. I have also purchased a Power FC. Will the Power FC do a good enough job with boost control or should i use the boost controller also? Mods are...

car is a 96 RHD
HKS down pipe
Catless midpipe
3in cat back
Apexi intakes
ETS front mount
air pump delete
AST delete
Koyo RAD
block off plates for emissions delete.

Also with the Power FC do i set the settings to 0 for all the deleted emissions?

The PowerFC can do boost control but it has to work with the limitations of the factory boost control system. Some people have gotten MAC solenoid valves to replace the factory boost control solenoids and have had good luck using that.

I use an AVC-R to control boost, works like a champ. Most any aftermarket controller will work well.

You will need some good boost control with a full exhaust for sure.

PowerFC doesn't care about removed emissions, you just remove them, that's it. Don't have to set or change anything.

I have Profec B and a Power FC runing in unison. I first purchased the Profec B and got it working accordingly. Later I acquired a power FC and pondered the same thing as you.

I left the Profec B alone because not only did I already have it hooked up, it was working perfectly.

I needed a boost controller. My PFC and associated stock components was not sufficient to control boost.

PFC Boost Control works but has some limitations and some people prefer other solutions.
