I just got my APEXi Power FC w/Commander in the mail today. I would have gotten it yesterday but my mailman is so damn lazy. He didn't even get out of the mail truck to bring it to the door, he left the signing slip in the mailbox to either go pick it up after 3pm or sign the slip and leave it in the box so he could drop it off the next day. I got it off the site talked about in the "is this legit?" thread. I paid $855 shipped brand new straight from Japan. Instead of getting it through ebay, I went to the site and it was $20 cheaper on his site.

Happy 4 U. Did you read the sticky on the PFC forum about which wires to cut for install? I can be a little tricky at first to figure out which wire is which because some of the posts are confusing but take your time. Of course, do the idle learn but I found that even after that it took a while longer for the system to really get it down so Idle hunting could be an initial PIA. Also, just a side note, that if you have trouble with the car stalling when you put the clutch in (after you install) it might be your clutch switch so check your sensore page on the commander. Good luck.
PS. Once I'm done with my datalogit and wideband O2 system I plan to sell both if you're interested, otherwise forget I said anything.

Will that work for a 93-95? The auction is for the 16 bit one, just hoping you didnt buy that.

Just hope its not the 16bit version because that wont work with our 8bit ecus. My friend just did the same thing---bought a power fc on ebay because it was cheap but didnt read the description closley enough, it was made for the 16bit 95-98 ecu. Plugs are completely different on it.

Thanks luizajeff, I will check into the PFC forums and read them carefully as the PFC came with Japanese directions only. How much would you be selling the datalogit and wideband O2 for?

It's the model for the 93-95. I searched the forums on the correct model # and this has the same model. I haven't installed it yet because the car doesn't even run yet. I am going to do the rebuild first then install this.

not for sure, since I can't remember which PFC serial numbers go with what model 7. Hopefully you don't open it and find that your 93-95 harness (2 in rows) won't plug into the 3 pin row PFC. I got one at a great price only to find that out the hard way, but they did refund my money.

$800 for a new PFC is a steal. I bought a used PFC for $700, I should have bought a new one for not much more.

I saw one on Ebay a wial back and it said "Power FC for 13b REW" and i was kinda iffy to buy it. For the sher fact that it might not work for my car.

LOL. No, the car doesn't even run. I bought it with blown apex seals. I plan on pulling the engine this month. And hopefully tearing the engine down by the beginning of Feb.
