is it possible to run 87 octane if you stay off the boost and you use the car for commuting on the freeway only? at 70mph for about an hr on the freeway just cruising youre not getting on the boost and since the fd has low compression rotors would it be possible. of course if you boost it will go boom but is there a way you can set it for the wastegate for like 7psi max and just keep off the boost?

Again PLEASE SEARCH!
I wouldn't run 87 octane no matter what the conditions are. Stick with 93/91 and just leave it at that. If gas prices are a problem for you, then this is NOT the car for you. These cars normally get shitty gas mileage and require atleast 91 octane.
