I want a ready made solution that drops in. What's the best one out there for flow while still being able to get rid of the exhaust smell you get from not having cats.

This has been beatin to death!! Please search man!!

A full exhaust, as far as I know, is going to have somewhat of a "foul" exhaust smell without the main cat. The best DP is one that fits great for a good price. Usually if you get a cheaper one, its a PITA to install because the pipe will be in the way to get a wrench/socket/ect. in there to tighten the bolts to the turbo good. If you don't mind then just find one for cheap. Usually the ebay ones come with a mid pipe, wich has to be used for proper fitment. People seem to love the HKS though, I use the rx7 store combo and was able to use the stock cat and everything still lined up great and what not.

As far as a cat-back exhaust...Greddy, HKS, Racing Beat, ect. all seem to be great exhausts. Apexi exhausts seem to be the loudest, and the Racing Beat seems to be one of the best as far as keeping the sound down, also retains a "stock look." I have heard several people that have had a mounting bracket crack and break on the HKS carbon-TI, but usually an easy fix (welded back together) You can also just get it welded before installing to make sure it'll last for years to come. I use a Greddy TI. Its one of the cheapest TI exhausts, fits great, and has a great tone without drowning on the highway. If you want some sound clips just let me know.

You can get a mid pipe in a combo package with a downpipe, you can get both a resonated mid pipe and downpipe. Rotary Extreme also offers a TI mid pipe to go along with a TI exhaust if you want to pay the price for the little bit of weight that it saves.

Opps, I just noticed you asked about a high flow cat, not a high flowing exhaust lol. Oh well...
