Possible causes for signal lights not working?

Could any of those pictures be the cause of my turn signals not working? There are also 2 others not connected in the trunk, a blue and black one, I’m not sure what they’re called, the wire is cut in one of the pictures. Thank you for any help!

Yikes. Someone was hacking at crap on your car.
Time to get the shop manual's wiring diagrams and learn how to read wiring diagrams. I'm not sure from just looking what those plugs are for, which means those plugs are stuff that typically is never messed with. I also see a crimp-on terminal in the wiring too which means that was hacked on.
The good thing is the turn signal circuit is not anything crazy complicated. The bad thing is you have to decipher what the hell the previous owner was hacking at in your car.

That would be an absolute nightmare to try and install. I would figure out what's going on there and repair and neaten up (and plug in!) things like that.
That connector may be fine, it's just to join 2 wires together, but the fact it's there is sketchy.
