How to flash your lights through the FTP lenses?
How to flash your lights through the FTP lenses?
I ran into someone that's got a TII when I first got mine and he SOMEHOW turned the lights on, but they didnt pop up and they shined through the ftp lense or whatever it's called... I have not been able to figure out how he did that, someone please tell me! thanks!
All I know is that if you pull the turn signal towards you, the high beams will come on, even when the lights are down. Not sure how to keep them on though. For pictures I wedged a piece of wood between there to keep them on. Might be a way to rig it up so they stay on though.

I figured the light would stay on, didnt know that you had to modify it to stay on, that sucks. Oh well...
Maybe I'll actually use them when I flash to pass on the highway..

This mod let's me keep my lights on and down whenever I want. It's fine in the city where there's already plenty of light but once you get out of town you have to either pop the lights or flick on the high beams, and even with the high beams there really isn't quite enough light...
I don't use the switch for 'sleepy lights.' I think that that looks stupid, like the car has Downs Syndrome. It's all the way or nothing.

The proper way to do it (without affecting the operation of the retractors or high-beams):
