Sqealing sound from belts/pulleys only on cold starts?
Lately I've noticed on overnight cold starts that the belts/pulleys on my FD squeal for a few minutes until the engine warms up a bit. The sound goes away before the engine reaches operating temp. Belts are relatively new (< 1year old) and I set and re-checked the tension/deflection per the FSM. Any ideas what can be causing the racket? The idler pulley is the Pineapple racing piece, and the sound seems to be coming from that general area. Attached is a short audio clip of the noise.

May want to see which of the 2 belts is causing the noise. Easiest is to remove one, see if the noise goes away, then try the other.
I had problems when I got my car with the PS idler pulley having a flaky bearing. Also that pulley has different spacers, I think I had a wrong one or something that was slightly side loading the belt.

^Good idea, before the next overnight cold start, I'll try removing the PS/AC belt first. If the sound goes away, it's isolated to that belt & pulleys. If it doesn't, then the sound is isolated to the WP/Alt belt & pulleys, and no need to remove that belt.
