How do I port the wastegate? Just by making the hole bigger? I guess I have to take the turbos off to do this....correct?

 

yep u got to remove the turbos...then split them appart from eachother(5bolts) then get a die grinder and a carbide de-buring bit...plug ears and go to work....

 

Is there a good writeup anywhere on the web for this? I mean EVERYTHING, including taking off the turbos, since i've never done that. It's getting cold here and my creep is getting to be a problem. Thanks fellas.

I did this on my car a few months ago and it's a very easy thing to do. Removing and disassembling the turbos will be "much" harder to do. If you need a hand let me know. If you don't feel confident or have the tools, I can port the WG for you. Just give me a call!

 

What's your number, I'm going to be putting in new turbo's and want to get the WG ported before I do it. I'd appreciate the help, I've never pulled off the turbo's either, but I'm getting new turbo's and manifold, so I might just go non-seq while I'm at it.
