A#1) Is this possible? of course ill have to take breaks to charge it... but i mean RPM and power wise, cause i only have a cordless one on hand.
B#2) what sort of bits should i use to do the porting?
id love any porting tips youve got.... im assuming that i am to draw the area to be ported with permanent marker, and just freehand the circle? thanks, -heath
oh yeah, im completely disassembling the turbos for a rebuild (keeping them sequential for now) but is there any other porting that i can do to the turbos to increase flow while im in there (while keeping everything for seq.)? im doing the WG porting so i can use my metalit cat w/out iboost creep on the stock ECU.

Yes cordless dremels BLOW. And when i say blow i mean like a gf giving you a great hummer and slowly stoping and saying nvm good night. Go try to exchange it for one with a chord. I've always found the tungstun carbinite (sp?) bit to cut well but they are pricey. How ever you do it is going to go you some money in bits.
A machinist can do this in a matter of minutes with a drill press or mill. The hole will come out perfectly round, too. Then you can blend it into the housing using a dremel. I'd have a machinist do the initial opening. Where in the Bay Area are you?
