Question Popping sound when I was backing up

As soon as I started backing up out of my garage tonight I heard a poping sound as if someone poppeda balloon behind my car.. My tires are fine, does anyone know what this was?

Yeah it's backfire, it happens most of the time when backing up, especially if the engine is cold.
