Polishing: Roto Rooter is the shizzy

So I am rounding up all the parts for my rebuild and single install. One of the things was a polished LIM...Jerry AKA Rotor Rooter on this forum had contacted me and said he was prepping one and if I wanted it. I said yes....I got the LIM in today...all I can say is "HOLY ****!" this is the best polishing job I have ever seen. Most of you know I am into polishing from photos of my engine bay so you would know that I am "somewhat" **** when it comes to my 7. Anyway, I would rate this LIM polishing job an 11 out of 10...Zero pits and a surface so smoothe it would make a baby jealous. Props to Jerry and thanks a million man! I am super pleased. Never fear this dude will get the job done for ya.

Here's a Photo of the LIM which does not do it justice at all.

Someday, maybe i'll get that good.....

Thanks again David. G'luck with the Single project.

Awesome polish job. When I saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be some info on how household chemicals could be used to polish our parts!

According to a past post. TTT said that he doesn't polish anymore and would appreciate if people would quit asking him to polish their stuff...So I don't think so...But back in the day TTT was the man....Now RotorRooter da man!

Apnea... your engine bay looks sweet! How do you keep your polished parts shinny? Mine polished parts are pretty dull now.

I would just like to point out that r00ter didn't actually do any of the polishing himself. He had to outsource it, according to him.

My roommate does some nifty polishing. Just look what he did to my charge pipe off the secondary turbo:

Before:
http://www.stlrx7club.com/images/rx7...pipebefore.htm

After:
http://www.stlrx7club.com/images/rx7...lowerypipe.htm

Its not totally shined yet, but you get the idea...the removal of all that crap in particular is quite cool I thought.

Here's something that is more polished up, the Secondary inlet pipe...
Before:
http://www.stlrx7club.com/images/rx7...pipebefore.htm

After:
http://www.stlrx7club.com/images/rx7...pipeafter2.htm

Anyways, LIM looks awesome man! Mine is in the works, UIM in particular with removal and welding of all normally blocked off stuff, all unneeded nipples removed, etc.... I can't wait!
