Polishing Intercooler

I have a old Pettit Racing intercooler and its kinda of ugly. I was thinking about making it shiny. I could polish it or I could paint it chrome with duplicolor spray can. Do you have any suggestions.

I vote stealth, go black....polishing is too much work and a pain to maintain, not worth it in my book. Most of my engine bay is polished and I hate it.

Not a big fan of chrome why? Extra weight ? Temps?

Polishing over and over and over gets annoying as ****. windex and a rag on chrome....easy.

Another option is to get it Chrome-ceramic coated. It won't look as good as polished or straight chrome, but maintenance would be easier.
