The plugs for Blitz & Apexi intake

I tried to have the instructions translated. He said the characters/words mean "silencer". He beleives they are for the BOV & charge releif valve or whatever that other one is (technical, wasn't I).

Are you talking about one of the holes on the intake that needs to be pugged? If you are what I did with mine is went to a hardware store and bought a rubber stopper that fit in there really snug. So far it has been working great. Hope this helps

Don't think were talkin bout same thing

The kits come with two (aluminum I think) plugs but they have two small holes in each one. The word /characters under the part of the Blitz instructions means "silencer". He coudn't translate all of it and beleived it is to quiet down the whoosh of the BOV & whatever.

There is another thread where a few people have it in the line with the air pump, which would restrict it from sucking air and probably is how they get the MOO sound.

I never used them but was wondering if I was supposed to, So I asked John at Ziel to translate it for me (his english is limited).

Actually the APEX'i intakes only come with one and according to the diagrams (instructions are also in Japanese), it's for the airpump. If it was for the BOV and CRV, I think it would have come with two.

Why would you want to put a restrictor in the BOV line?

OH OK your talking about the 2 aluminum little pills you get. I got the american directions and it says to put them in the hoses which connect to the right airfilter looking at the car from the front. I didnt use them because I thought they would just limit airflow, will I experience any trouble by not putting them in?

Mike - You should not have any problems if you didn't install them, they are simply for quieting sounds that many people don't like or find as un-natural automobile sounds...

The Blitz comes with two

Yeah the two pill things. The Blitz comes with two. I assumed the APexi came with two also. I couldn't get it all translated, just the word "silencer". The picture does look like it's for the right filter with the air pump but he said it was to quiet the BOV and I think the other one is the Charge releif valve? If the air pump sucks air, I don't know why you would need to quiet it down?

Anyhow I haven't used either of them. I like the whoosh noise. Maybe one of the Japanese forum guys can translate it better.
