I still wonder why you got the codes for the injectors though? At first, like someone stated earlier, if you're injectors went you probably ran lean for a moment (bad news) I was still thinking boost sensor all along though. I wonder if the way the Fcon is hooked up that it could be throwing the codes to the ECU. At any rate, glad to hear you're running again

Heh, the real reason I even stopped by this thread was that if reminded me of a joke (I blew a seal). It involves a penguin, ice cream and a broken down car. Sorry.

I think I got the injector codes because the car went into the failsafe mode and cut fuel to one of the rotors - right after the boost sensor came loose.

 

Off topic, I know, but the in me made me do it

So, this penguin is driving down the road in his 3rd gen Rx7 in the middle of a heat wave when all of a sudden white smoke is coming out of his exhaust.
"****" he says as he pulls into the local garage. He goes up to the mechanic and explains his dilema. "I have a bunch of white smoke coming out the back, sweet smelling exhaust, a leeky AST and a 3k stumble". The mechanic says he can't get to it for about an hour and recommends that the penguin waits it out at the local ice cream parlor. Being that it is way too hot out for a penguin anyways, he figures that is a good idea. The penguin cozy's up to a nice vanilla sundae and ponders his situation. Pretty soon he realizes just how good the ice cream really is and looses himself in his sundae. After an hour he waddles back to the garage, drenched in vanilla ice cream from top to bottom, and asks the mechanic,
"So, what's it look like"? he inquires
The mechanic says,
"Well, it looks like you blew a seal"
The penguin, astonished, says.......,
"Nah, its just ice cream"

Sorry for that. But if we learn anything from this, it is never let penguins drive your rex in the middle of a heat wave!

I blew out seals on one of my rotors in my second gen. about a year ago. I was getting ready to sell the car within a few days so I put 89 octane fuel in. I heard no pinging or crunching or any noises for that matter. I was racing a ferrari tesstarossa and everything seemed fine, but once I came to a stop at the next stoplight, the car was shaking like crazy at idle. My advice would be to get a compression test done to find out if your seals are okay.
