at the top of the forum it will show you the private mesages, it will say log in....and that is what you should do. first try that site that was posted for you to try. i am out of town, and it is hard for me to sit down for a period of time to get so into detail. try www.robrobinette.com 's site listed as a link a few replies up. that should keep you going for a day or 2 until i can sit down and type away.

AVC-R

Hey Alx, I just installed an AVC-R on my FD, & found that I'm having the same problem you had back in May. I searched in the archives & found your old post about it.

So, anyway did you get it fixed? If so how? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Chris

Hey Alx, thanks for the quick reply man! I actually used that same page to help with my install, so I either did something wrong or something isn't working. Let me ask you a coupla q's.

1.Where did you tap the line for the pressure sensor? I T'd mine from the same line for my boost gauge.

2. What did you do with the electrical connectors for the stock wastegate & precontrol solenoids? Did you disconnect them?

Thanks again, Chris.

BTW, what did you find that you had done wrong?

In the meantime, I'll look over that installation page again.

1) T-d off of another line going into manifold, not the boost gauge line... but I dont think this shouldn't matter

2) My electrical connectors are still plugged into the solenoids. But the solenoids are completely out of the boost control process (disconnected hoses).
