Please Help.....i Think I Fuked Sumthin Up

alright.....i was punching my car out in second gear. and i feel that the second turbo doesnt kick in. so i pull up to a stop sign and let it idle.......the idle pulsates up and down, and barely stayes running. it was a cool night..so i dont think anything over heatd. i am kinda new to rotories and have no i dea wut could be wrong. i just hope it isnt seriouse. now when i give it throttle it sputters and doesnt sound smooth at all...almost as if its running to rich......please help...if u have any idea wut it could be, let me know. thanks

Vac hose came off the map sensor.

are u possitive thats wat it is? cus that gave me a big sigh of relief. thanks alot. if u dont think thats wut it is....leave some more possibilities of wat it could be....thank u.

If it's not the map sensor than your motor is toast

the car only has 36k miles on it.....so i bettr hope its the map sensor. wut usually goes wrong if its the motor? apex seals? and where is the map sensor? call me a newb...but i could care less....i just got this car about 7 months ago. thanks

map sensor is on the firewall and is conected to the throttly body by a vaccume hose, but in your case i dont think it will be connected

map sensor is located on the driver's side rear of the firewall (towards the top, near the wiper blade shroud), basically opposite the steering column. The vacuum hose plugs in underneath.....if you see an exposed plastic nipple pointing downward, than that is your problem.

if that is the problem do i just find the hose.....and place it back on the nipple?

You're welcome. I figured as much....unless heavily modified, these cars aren't *that* easy to blow up, contrary to what some of the lesser-informed forum members would have you believe.
