Please help with Air Control Valve Tube
Hey I have honestly look through all the moo cow problems in the third gen threads and none seem to help me. I have installed the apexi power intakes to my rx7 and the moo cow wont go away i have tried the chair caps it doesn't work but it helps it, its about the same with the silencer that came with my intakes so i just kept it with my silencer in the hose connecting to the dumping tube. but i have noticed when i use the silencer on my dumping tube at the air control valve the moo doesn't happend when i push the gas pedal but the moo occurs when i let go of the gas when it drops to about 2300 rpms. So i experimented and tried blocking the air pump tube that sucks in air at the same time. this solved my problem but i noticed that when i block the air pump tube more smoke comes out of my exhaust.
So my question is, is it bad for me to block the air pump tube? since its the only solution i can find. if so does anyone have a better solution? your help would be much appreciated.

If you are talking about blocking the air pump intake, I don't think that is a good idea. Not only will you plug up your cat more quickly, but I can't think it is good for the airpump to be sucking on vacuum all the time. Not to mention that without the airpump functioning properly, you are increasing the amount of pollution your car is producing.

no no my apexi intake has connections with all the stock hoses but it still does a moo sound even if i connect everything the only time it doesn't is when i block the air pump tube meaning stoping the air going in.
