Plastic button that rolls up my window broke
The plastic switch that rolls up the driver's side window broke. Does anyone know how to fix this? Do I have to replace the whole plastic console containing the switches for the window and door opener? Has this ever happened to anyone? I'm thinking I should replace the whole thing. The interior for The FD3S is starting to **** me off!!!

I had the same problem 2 months ago, pretty common...that switch is super pricey brand new and people jump on it like fly's on **** in the FS section! Especially the Auto down one...
I opened mine up and carefully Krazy glued the broken piece...works perfect now...
It pops out, then disconnect it, then get a small philips screw driver and open it up...you'll figure out the rest I guess.

Same thing happend to mine. I just took it apart and now roll it up and down using the white activator rod that connects to the finger switch. Looks ghetto but for what the dealer wants, I dont mind waiting for one to end up in someones parts bin.

the switch cost about 200 dollars in california, but it only cost about 120 from east coast. (i think) I had to replace 2 of them already, cause the stupid auto window on the driverside doesnt work. Thats big different in price. dont know why everything cost alot more in california . . . .
