Planning a rebuild...

Whats up guys. My FD has been down a few years now, time and funds have been a problem so its been sitting. Lately I've been spending alot of time trying to plan out the car from the ground up. Right now the car is totally stripped, only thing left still on the car is the rear end. I've been organizing my thoughts lately and trying to figure out the plan. It's like building a puzzle almost, except you have to decide what the pieces are. Well I'm trying to organize everything by different systems of the car, I think thats the easiest way to do it. Going through each system and building it the way I want it. Keeping a list for each system with what parts needed, price and where I'm buying it from so when I'm finished I can also get a very close idea of how much money is going in and needed. Been using excel sheets to keep track of things and help me put the car back together when its time. A few weeks ago I went through all my boxes of parts and collected all my hardware that I have bagged and labeled and went through all of them, writing down what they were and numbering the bag, which corresponds to a spreadsheet that will tell me exactly what is in each bag. Anyways, things like that to help later is what I'm working on right now and I wanted to know from some of you guys that have built a few FD's from the ground up, how you went about doing it. I think when your doing it big and all at once, it takes a lot of planning and a lot of time to do just that. The only system that I have totally figured is the cooling system(which went a little over 3k for everything, lol), beyond that I still have a lot of blanks to fill. I have seen a few of you guys on here over the years take a stripped FD and turn it into a beautiful car and I was just curious what your thoughts are on this topic.
