pilot bearing
The pencil led strips , is that the pilot bearing(needle bearing)? And the other is the seal? Does anyone know what could have caused this? How can i make sure i got everything out before i put in the new one.

This is my first time looking at the bearings and taking off the tranny, what does a new pilot bearing look like. What all should come out with the puller. That ring or seal in the pic came out with no problem and the bits of needle bearing came out with my pinky.
The pilot bearing itself is a simple needle bearing; cage and then each needle. For it to destroy itself like that there was either:
no lubrication in it (most likely)
bent tranny input shaft (highly unlikely)
bent eccentic shaft (very highly unlikely)
transmission not mounted squarely to motor (possible, but difficult to do)
The pilot bearing merely fits into a blind hole in the e-shaft. Look in there closely with a light and if there are no pieces I would say you are fine.

Scraping noise right when you start to take off from first, I went ahead and replaced the clutch, the presure plate and both bearings because well you can see my pb and my disk was glazed.
Just did mine and it came out in pieces. Poke closely at it with a light and make sure you got all of it. Also, when mounting the new one make sure you don't mount it too deep, I think that is one of the main reasons they fail. I put basic high-temp synthetic chassis/wheel bearing grease on mine.

I suspect mine as well, just had a new flywheel/clutch assembly installed w/ new bearings. I get a minor scraping noise when starting out in first once in a while, more often I get a quick *squeak* noise when the clutch first engages the flywheel.. never heard that one before. Your image makes me worry.
