They're PRETTY easy! If you have a bushing removal tool, they're *REALLY* easy. If anyone in the San Diego County area needs any help installing these bushings, feel free to message me.

We only have a week left on this deal, so jump on it lazy-bones!

AutoZone provides a free tool rental program. Basically, you put a 100% deposit/purchase the tool and receive a full refund when you return the item before 90 days. So, I "rented" this AutoZone tool 3-IN-1 Ball Joint/U-Joint/C-frame press service kit. BTW, Kragen does not have this tool in it's loan program.

Or, you can purchase a lower quality version at Harbor Freight for sale $19.00
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=38335

Installation was fairly easy with 2 people (1 holding the press and the other cranking on it). Also, you'll need a small screwdriver, snap ring pliers, grease, and a 1/2" socket in either a 13/16" or 15/16" size. I recommend purchasing a few dust covers to replace the bad ones. Good luck!

^^hmm...too late.

I did it the Max Cooper way. After the first one I got the hang of it and it went pretty well. I did replace all the dust covers which is definately a good idea.

The car feels like new now.

Thanks for the link on the tool. I will be investing in that. Seems a little easier than the Max Cooper way.

I bought the one from harbor freight... decent and made quick work of the pillow *****.

1. Just make sure you mount everything correctly so you don't damage the arms
2. When you pushing the pillow ***** in stop when it gets a bit diffuclt to turn and check to make sure you don't push the pillow ball THROUGH... don't ask
3. A second pair of hand helps alot, especially, if you leave the arms on the car.

I'd also like to add another tip: buy as many dust shields as you can afford. After being exposed to many miles of abuse, they can get stretched out and dry-rotted.

MazdaComp should be a little cheaper yet.

Ray is usually very close to Mazda Competition pricing. On a set of spark plug wires, he was within $2-5 of MazdaComp's price.

Usually, I'll call Ray if I need tech help, or order from MazdaComp if I know exactly what I need and need it shipped quickly (since they're geographically closer to me).

Ordered mine along with lots of other stuff on Tuesday. He called me yesterday to say some parts weren't instock at the present time, he didn't specify what parts they were but I assume he was talking about the bushings..
