I just installed mine last weekend with the help of AdamC (Thanks Adam!). Needless to say, after ~100k miles, my lower control arm (inner) bushings were TOTALLY shot. I'll be sure to take pics once I can get a hold of a camera, but I really recommend those of you who have a high mile chasis to change them asap.

You're welcome. How does the car feel, now that you have had a chance to drive it a bit?

The rear end doesn't feel like it "trails" the front as much anymore -- the rear end feels a lot more balanced with the front end. Also, the clunks from the rear end are gone (minus my exhaust hitting my diff. brace). The whole car would be pretty quiet if it were not for the array of interior trim squeaking.

Just installed them. No more clunk clunk!

Now all I need are a pair of nylon bushings for the lower longitudinal arm.

How much did the dust covers run you. I probably should have gotten mine from Ray.

They do exactly what they are named for -- keep dust away.

But seriously, I'd order a new set (12). A new set will ensure that dirt and liquids won't enter the bushings, causing premature wear and corrosion.

Hi

Hi,
Can anyone tell me the exact shipping weight of 6 pillowballs. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks,

Gordon

Obviously many people prefer to deal with a company like malloy, but I can do these for US$265. That's surface mail from japan though (air mail = same price as malloy - so that's a no-brainer).

I can do it a little cheaper for aussies.

They're about 4000yen a pop from mazda japan.

How long would it take to ship, though?

Thumbs up

I installed new pillowball bushings over the weekend on my 93 R1 w/ 130K. Yeah, no more clunking!! I purchased 6 dust shields and replaced the ones in bad shape. Tip: Remember to pry the dust shields from the center. You'll damage them if you pry from the outer edge - BTDT. Another satisfied customer of Ray Crowe @ Malloy Mazda!!! Thanks for the notice WaLieN!
