Pig Rich After Simplification
So I got my car out for a decent drive since my seq simplification and emissions removal and now the thing is running rich as hell. I am running a stock ecu and haven't even really got on the boost much but the car wants to fall on its face with partial throttle, lots of backfires, hesitations, ect. I tried adjusting the TPS and it still seems to do the problem. Are there anythings to check out that might be causing the problem?

I left the solenoids in place to keep from tripping a CEL. MAP sensor is connected. The idle isn't the big issue the problem is trough out the range it wants to hesitate. And I assumed it was rich because you don't throw a lot of fireballs out your exhaust backfiring when your lean.

Yup, I have been saying for a while that removing the airpump will lean your idle out, not make it rich. The airpump puts air into the exhaust and when you remove that extra air the ECU thinks the engine is running rich and will lean the mixture out too much.

Yeah, is there a ground besides the one that goes inbetween the front and the middle one that I might have missed?
I got less than 15 mpg on the higway cruising at 75 mph with no boost. I may have gotten worse than 10 mpg! This thing is running amazingly rich!

Here's how I would start:
1. Reset the ECU. After that, start the car up and let it run for a few minutes. Next, check ECU for codes. If codes found, fix 'em If not, move on to the next step
2. Check your plug wires. Make sure they are snapped onto the plug and they are pushed all the way into the coil. Make sure all the connectors are on the coils.

Turns out that a couple vacuum lines didn't get zip tied and they popped off. Seemed to fix the problem, but will know when I cold start it.
Now I just have to figure out why the turbo control system is allowing spikes.
