piece that DP connects to

hey guys, wats that piece between the turbos that the DP or precat connects to called? I broke a bolt while bolting my DP on so gotta find another one, thanks

try usin an extractor bit to drill the broken stud out...

yea imma try that on the weekend but wat if the hole was stripped, i'd have to replace the manifold anyways so it'll make it more easier if i find one

It's a bitch and a half to get that stud out once its snapped. Basic procedure is to remove the turbo manifold, drill out the stud and re-tap the hole. Good luck man.

do u guys think it'll be ok if i welded it cause i am thinking about jus leaving it on there and yes its a PITA to get to it

1. How would you weld in there?

2. If you ever need to remove your engine, you'll need to remove the DP first.

3. Have you tried the extractor? Have you tried drilling out the old stud?

not true... motor can be extracted out of the bay with dp....

no havent tried the extractor yet and kinda don't want to if welding it is much easier than having to take everything off and stuff. u guys think i should weld it if i can?
