pic of inside of door panels
I took my interior apart over a month ago and even though I put screws in labeled bags I can't remember exactly how and where everything goes.
Can someone please post a very closeup picture of the inside of both of your door panels so I can see which screws go where?
thanks so much!!
btw if you are feeling generous it takes 5 min to get both door panels off. on the drivers side there are 3 screws and I think the pass has 4 and they slide right off.
btw I tried the interior section and nothing
i know someone has their door panels off
THANKS!

yeah I have a bunch of screws that fit into the back and a couple brass looking pieces and a weird white piece for the passenger side which holds the door handle I think
I also think I have a bunch of washers/clips that go on there.
I just need 2 close up pictures and I'll be done
I could put everything back and just use whatever screws I want to secure it but I want it back the way it was

I just want everything to be perfect
the pieces came out great that the body shop painted so I can't wait to see them all installed.
I would really appreciate it if someone that hasnt tampered with their doors could post a pic. Ask anyone it takes just 5 min to take both doors off. You just take the screws out and lift up and then out and its off.
actually im not at home where my car is now so any time this week would be good so I can do it when I go home.

It's pretty straight forward how they go back together...

On this same subject, does anyone know how to get the creaks outta these things?
Mine sounds like a 100-year-old, wooden floorboard everytime I open and close my doors.
Any ideas?

I've thought about it. I guess I would have to order it from Mazda, right?
And it's not the moving parts...it's like if you reach out and squeeze the door handle "cup"...it squeaks and has high pitched "crunches" come out of it.
If you press it in places it does it, too. So when I'm driving along and hit a bump, it kinda "plastic crunches" then too.
It's not the moving parts, because I've already lubed the sucker up....

However, for you, try pulling off the panels and making sure everything is secure and tight. After 8+ years of roaming around, things are bound to get loose.

Oh, I just thought of something, it's probably the vinyl scraping against the plastic making that noise. You can do as I said about about making sure everything is tight. You could also think about using some type of liner or something in the places were the vinyl meets the plastic pieces.

puma it looks like mahjik got me some pretty good pics so I can put them together when I go home.
If you have a digital camera and it's not a big problem take a couple pics and post them in case there is another angle I need or he left out some pieces. If not it's no big deal I think I got what I need!
thanks mahjik
archangelx what the hell is wrong with your interior? maybe your car was in a huge accident or something? the only thing Ive had a problem with is the rear divider and I just take it off now any way.

I think it's just well used. And the last owner didn't know how to take care of a car apparently. Like when things break, and noone fixes it.
97k is no joke. It's just all creaky..I'm mean it's not HUGELY creaky..but I want the sucker to be kinda solid sounding like a new car.
I'm going to try using that dynomat-in-a-can stuff, and go from there...I don't want to use the sheet style stuff, because it's too heavy, and won't be able to conform as well.
