pfs purple box

i need info on pfs purple box/w InterACQ.....i know its an old system and its hard to find any information on it but i though i would ask anyway.
does any one have any manuals/pdf or any type of information on it?

I've got the manual. I could always copy it and send you one if you can't find anything else. I see the 'purple' box isn't supported anymore at the PFS website, it used to be.

I might actually have it saved somewhere....let me look.

thanks man..i read in a thread that you where sketical on install the pfs ecu on your automatic since its an older system....well did ya!!!

Well.....I still haven't put it in, to tell the truth. The biggest reason is that even though the person I bought it from had nearly the same identical mods as me, I still wanted to have it street or dyno tuned to be DAMNED sure I wouldn't blow my new $6K engine.....and there simply isn't anyone close to where I live to do that.
Done correctly, these units DO work fine and were all that was available in the early days and of course still remain one of only a couple of options for automatic owners who want to retain the HOLD function.

Let me know if you need a hard copy of that manual. I can't get the Adobe PDFs in that link I sent you to open...can you?

hell yeah i`ll take the hard copy pm me with details...

well the pfs ecu i got was from RE-Mamamia and we both have the same mods and he had this ecu tunes for about 260whp from steve kan so i will install it and see what happens,i can let you know if my engine blew up or not.lol

Best advice is to chuck the purple box and go with a Power FC. Much, much better operation and support.
