Pettit cc3 fan/ ICE install
Have had the fan (Intercooler enhance kit) for my Pettit cool charge 3 sitting in my garage for months, went to install it recently and realized the instruction sheet was missing. Called Cam at Pettit and it sounds like the instruction sheet file has been lost on their computer or something. Anyone have that sheet or can give me a rough rundown on install? All he told me on the phone was to zip tie the fan through the rad core which doesn't sound very secure, and splice into the low fan speed wire at one of the fan relays which he thought might be red/yellow or yellow/red.

If it were my car I would weld up some brackets to mount the fan to the intercooler but for cost and simplicity the above zip ties are fine. I would run a dedicated relay to the fan to either come on with the radiator fans or to a switch so you can turn it on as you like.

I wouldn't want a manual switch, would you enjoy manually turning on your radiator and each time?
Just tap into one of the fan wires to activate a really that provides fused power from the battery. When your radiator fans come on, so will your IC fan.
Or wire it so that it turns on with ignition.

I have used the blank switch location in my center console for my IC fan for over 10 years. Simply buy a new or used fog light switch and place it into the blank center location. Wire in a automotive relay from the ignition positive to send ground to the fan with ignition on, positive to the fan from the battery.
