Petit Grounding Kit

Petit offers a free grounding kit..all you have to do is call them up.

My question is, how does a kit like this compare to a fancy setup like the HKS Circle Earth System. I've read mixed things. Some swear by the fancy setups, and some say its just wires any will do.

Any opinions from people who truly know the answer?

One wire? I think cleaning your factory grounds and spraying some deoxit on your connectors would work better than anything. You can use a multimeter and check voltage drop through your connectors and at grounds to see if they have resistance in them.

Pettit doesn't sell a "grounding kit" for the FD. They have a "grounding strap" which they used to give for free with orders. It's now in their "Tune Up Kit" which includes a few other items.

Yea, its one wire but hey, it is a good wire. :-) I use it from the battery to the cassis and another wire from the same point on the cassis to the engine. It helps a bit but having a good harness that is connected well throughout is the best thing to do.

it doesn't say it'll give you 130 MORE horses. It just says 130 horses plus 40 mpg.

The devil is in the details. lol

Plus it's made for the factory original NA FD
