Performance clutch sacrificing daily drivability? This may be your solution.

Sucker for Punishment
I have nothing but great things to say about RHD. They respond very quickly and packages arrive sooner than packages from US(I'm in Canada). Packaging is very professional and you get points for every order. They offer great sexy products made by companies who have done so much for the Rx-7 and the culture surrounding it. Again, just a great site.

So I had the FEED clutch slave cylinder installed yesterday and took a quick drive back home from my mechanic... The engagement point when I release the clutch from neutral to 1st gear has improved dramatically and the car doesn't bog as much as it used to. I can say with confidence that this upgrade works!

This looks great. I'll keep it in mind when it's time to replace my new stock clutch (the old ACT clutch broke).

For the record I have an OSGiken twin clutch/flywheel on my FC. These are unsprung clutches and I believe ceramic. I have a custom 22mm slave cylinder and the car feels almost like my daily driver Scion in transitioning and pedal effort... I will never go back.

Outside of that, my engagement is pretty easy I think. Or maybe ive just got used to it.

For anyone experiencing an inconsistent engagement zone - a bad internal seal inside either the slave or master could cause this. There wouldn't be a visible external leak but fluid would be bypassing the piston inside. Now if both components have been replaced and you're experiencing the issue, that's a mystery.
