Well I have TONS TONS of stories but I'm too lazy to really type them all but one thing that EVERYONE says when first getting in is "How the hell do I get out?!?"

I usually have fun and tell them they need to touch to roof and adjust the seat before the door will unlock.....or I'll say click your heels 3 times and say "I wanna go home"

:-)

Little bit wet after some rain with my 3 year old son strapped into his car seat. Always take it easy when he is in the FD. Got slightly sideways coming out of a bend in 2nd not going to fast. Just powered out of the slide, look over and he's screaming 'DO IT AGAIN DADDY, DO IT AGAIN". All i could say was " Don't tell your mother"

well even my FD is new to me an I've been having soul crushing transmission problems I have had a few good responces to a ride.

One of my neighbors use to work for a shop that did LS1 swaps, he has an LS1 FD when I met him me an allliz roled up in our 7's an he asked me if I'd take him for a ride at first he was kinda doggin the rotary but still giving it respect. after we got back from the ride he said to the extent "its no ls1 but damn its got some power an a fun ride, you'll have to take me again."

Then theres this guy on the form Allliz who owns two fb RX7 that tells me almost every day that my FD is his.

I took another friend for a ride, an ran against a tiburon, my buddy kevin drivin the tibby just wanted to see what my 7 could do. After we finished the run the guy got out of my car an kevin asked "so what'd you think" with a **** eating grin on his face he was speachless.

When I took kevin for a ride the only thing he could say was "my turn my turn, I wanna drive!"

I got one other ride I've given, I was going down the highway at 40, in 3rd to "save gas" on the way to a nice peice of road to run on when the passanger said "this doesn't feel all that fast" so I down shifted into 2nd matted the pedal an in seconds we were screaming down the road at 60 I drop it in to 3rd an let of the gas right after the turbo blew off he looked at me an said "do it again!"

"how do I get out?"

"Do I smell gas?"

"Holy crap, the brakes are incredible!", and "****, this thing can stick!" = mustang guy on an autocross ride-along.

"I think i'm gonna be sick...." - wife after a 2nd to 4th pull on an onramp

I think the biggest compliment is having my friend brag to everyone about my car and how insane it is; especially considering he has two nice cars of his own.

It is so satisfying to make my grown friends giggle when they are in the passenger seat lol.

I took a kid home from class one day,hes never really been in any type of sports car. Do a 2 through 3rd pull. Look over and hes starring out the front windsheild eyes wide open then looks over at me and says "What the **** was that?"

Son in law: "I just knew there was no way you could make that turn!" - during an autox. he was wrong.

Kid jogging by while the FD was in the driveway: I can't recall just what he said, but he was almost incoherent, he was so deliriously happy to be that close to an FD. He even wanted shake my hand. I think his friend was embarrassed.

My father: He didn't say anything. But his face got rather flushed. I don't think he'd ever gone that fast.

Daughter: Just giggles and wants to go again.

Young guys hanging out at autox looking for rides: mostly just grin from ear to ear.

So my brother-in-law has been wanting to see what my car can really do...we had been working on it since I got back from Iraq and she was finally up and running. We were riding on the hwy and after punching it and that 2nd turbo kicked on he was quiet as hell. After slowing down he starts to saying "you're going to get us in trouble"...and what do you know....we come back home and my wife starts saying she just got off the phone with her g/f saying we just were speeding past her lol. We were going like 140 when we passed her... she fussed me out for a good hour, but it was worth it

Today...

"I feel like my *** is scraping on the ground."

"Yeah it's pretty low."

"What's this 'exhaust overheat button' for?"

"It's so I know when my car's about to blow up."

"Lemme put my seatbelt on."

"Yeah, you better...."

When you really shake em up MUMs the word Lots of humming and muttering but neither of you can make any sense of it.

Example: A state trooper went for a ride w/ me at VIR, he was white and shaking when we pulled into the paddock, getting out the poor guy hits his head on the cage and had to get stitches.

I actually let my female friend drive my car, and I was scared as hell!! but Ive known her long enough to trust her, and she was just driving around the parking lot super slow, and her thoughts were, "the clutch grabs nicely, I like how it rides"
then a car started driving behind us and she got nervous and almost stalled LOL heres one pic from the experience, shes camera shy, and looks like shes tryna karate chop somebody haha

Had the FD for maybe 4 months, let my sister take it out told her to just watch the road, and I will say when to shift. Said to her floor it! And she did a 2nd. to 3rd. pull.

Had to stop immediately after and get out, she was shaking saying this thing is a beast!!
