painted CF hood pix request!

Does anyone here have their CF hood painted to match with the color of the vehicle???? pix please!!!

Whats the difference between aluminum, carbon fiber or a fiberglass hood if prep'd and painted correctly? Search for after market hood pics and you'll find what you want, because you probably wouldn't know the difference in a pic anyway.

i had painted carbon fiber fenders & a painted carbon fiber front bumper on my last FD. even after it was painted you could still see the carbon fiber weave texture from the right angle. most people probably would never know, but if you look close enough - very cool effect

The RE Amemiya N1 carbon hood looks nice painted while leaving the vents unpainted....

i have the same hood like ur. and i talked to this local shop, they said that, it will be different between the original color ( the color on Fd ) and the hood. they said, if paint the hood, i need to paint the fender also.

^^ that could be. Since they painted my whole entire car it matched perfectly

i need to find a shop that have did painted CF hood before. cause i dont want to look like Rice if the hood have different color with original color.

Yes and no. ViS didn't drill out the holes to make it adjustable, but the pattern is there for the buyer to make it so if he/she wishes to do it.
