Are our hoods prone to flapping in the wind?

Well my hood starts to flutter and flap the edges atleast after I do over about 60mph ,

first time I noticed it I stopped tocheck if my hood was open it wasnt it just does this .

then i heard from a friend that his did hte same and actually opened nad smashed his windshield . so he put hood latches

I hate hoodlatches .. LOl unless I absolutely need them i'd rather avoid them

so I'm wondering if this is a common problem/ or is something off?

I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for LOL

but the scary thing is the wind lifts the edges that those bumps are supposed to hold above the fender line .

I noticed mine moved up at least 1/2" around 90+mph, and now that I think about it I did not have my underbelly tray on so that could be culprit.
