Here is a much better example and where I was headed with mine, alot of modifying
would of been done to both front and rear bumpers as well the quarters.

I agree about the idea stealing thing, its lame, but thats also how people make money. The reason most places are in buisness is because people tend to like similiar things and they count on people seeing the product and others wanting it on their car. It is lame but nothing can be done.

Team, you're missing our point...everyone likes that body kit. The "old" car was just a C-West kit which by itself is fine. It was all the fake add-ons, splitters, stickers, etc...just way overdone and done just because it could be, not because it was aesthetically pleasing, purposeful or with function. Would you do that to your car? Loeb is quoted as saying he picked the orange because it was the brightest in the catalog, not because it was necessarily a good color or unique color. And he stole ideas from other RX7 owners and then pan them off as his own.

It's a show car. If people weren't suppose to express their opinions on it, it shouldn't be taken anywhere ever.

This guy took a beautifully designed sports car and ruined it with a lot of mismatched 'kit' parts. Rear window visors... bwahahaha. Good design happens when you know when to stop. That car is sad.

Brad,

It's rare that I see show car owners understanding concepts such as WHITE SPACE.

Like I had said earlier he picked the color because he heard more than one person say how much they liked the orange 7 at the show and not much about the black one, he specifically asked me could he paint his car the same color.

I remember seeing this picture a few months ago and was under the impression it was a car from Japan. Is this his car or something else he copied from?

To me, something about it just doesn't look right... and the rear window visor looks terrible on an RX... but then again, I'm not sure what car it looks good on...

The car looks like the person who did it tried to change every panel possible instead of leaving some of it alone... meaning panels were changed "because he could" and not because it was functional or looked good.

I dunno...just the fact that he basically asked someone and then STOLE his idea, and went to the mags trying to get the cover, and then even went as far as to claim it's the ONLY kit in the US? I mean that's complete B.S, man...just sorry.

That kit has been around a long time, since Nov 02 in the states at least. He shouldn't have said that. It would have been fine if he hadn't have bragged that. That kinda bogus talk just pisses me off. He should know better.

That's what really bothers me, that he had the guts to say something like that. Like he's OG or something. He had to think someone was going to be pissed about that.

Plus, there's all those super-chunky dragon letters and kanji all over the place, oh and the mis-placed WRX reflector placed on the upper door arch is just gay to look at IF you know what it is, and where it came from.
